Room Tour : Ezra's Stellar Nursery

This nursery is out of this world. This amazing space was created by Kristen from Chattanooga, TN who works as a baby and child photographer and is the mother of a funny 4 year old and waiting on her second little boy, Elliot Ezra (who they plan to call Ezra) Kristen shares: "We moved into our house last January and this particular room had functioned as a catch-all until we found out that we were expecting.  Almost immediately I started dreaming up ideas for our baby's nursery...let's be honest, this really happened before I found out that we were expecting.  I knew I wanted a serene space without a lot of color, one that would be sure to send lots of sleepy vibes to the little one sleeping in there."

" I think the very first thing that I told my husband that we NEEDED was the starry cloud mobile.  It was perfectly dreamy and quite unique.  I was nervous to paint the chalkboard wall, but my husband was all about it.  He did it while I was out one day, and I fell in love when I saw it.  It was the perfect night sky backdrop.  I knew I wanted something on the chalkboard wall, but knew it wouldn't be pretty if I had tried myself.  Thankfully I have an amazingly talented cousin, who is an artist, who was willing to come work her magic in our nursery.  The moon along with the stars really does feel magical in his little room, and accompanied the cloud mobile perfectly."

"I used Pinterest for inspiration for a couple of the projects that I tackled myself, like the cloud garland and the stained wooden "E"." You can find similar projects on our nursery inspiration boards here.

Thanks so much to Kristen for letting us peek around Ezra's stellar nursery. Photos by Kristen Jeffers.

Hi I was wondering how are the star cloud mobiles hanging from the ceiling in your photographs? Is it possible to attach onto an arm on the cot like regular mobiles to avoid making hole in ceiling? If so do you sell any?

Thanks

Following both. My favorite item is the cascading star cloud mobile. Love it.
