Room Tour : Ender's Neutral Nest

Jacqueline and Demian Lee created a beautiful nest filled with personal touches for their son Ender. Jaci shares, "We wanted to create a calming, gender-neutral space that reflected some of the things we love. We have a bird mobile in our son Ender's nursery, and he has loved it right from the start.  He just turned 1 a couple of weeks ago, and every morning and every time he wakes up from his nap, he will point at his birdies." Let's take a peek...

There are so many sweet touches in this space, like the vintage homonym flash cards from a shop called Prize in Ashland, Oregon. Jaci and her husband have traveled to this town every year since thier senior year in high school for the Shakespeare Festival (and it is where they ultimately got engaged).

The framed posters above the changing table are quotes from the songs of their favorite band, Something Corporate (later called Jack's Mannequin) and the photographs next to the glider were purchased in Montreal, where they traveled the year before to visit Jaci's uncle.

Thanks for sharing Ender's Room with us Jaci and Demian and for this adorable image of Ender on his first birthday. Ender's portrait by Aaron Calestar // Room images by Jacqueline and Demian Lee. Sources for some of the details:
