Honey Watercolor Swaddle

Honey is the newest color addition to our line of fair trade certified baby basics  colored with pigments from nature and made with 100% GOTS organic cotton double gauze muslin for a breathable blanket that is truly natural.Sized at a generous 47”x47” our honey swaddles were dyed using a mixture of myrobalan pigment ground from the nuts of this tree grown in the Himalayas and cutch pigment derived from the bark of the cutch tree.

Each blanket is unique and the wash of color across the fabric will vary subtly so you get a one of a kind heirloom blanket. This is a swaddle you can feel good putting against tender baby skin, as the plant based dye sinks into the fabric creating colorful breathable cotton that will become softer with each wash. These blankets are perfect for swaddling, as a cover for breast feeding, a ground cover for play or a light cover for naps and even as a scarf for mama. With proper care this will last for years and can be packed away for future generations.
