Movers, Shakers, Mommies, and Makers: Success Stories from Mompreneurs // Hardcover Book
I love sharing with other aspiring moms how I started Baby Jives Co with a small stash of fabric and a few spare hours at naptime, that's all. So when Gibbs Smith approached me about being part of a book highlighting the stories of 11 mompreneurs, I took the leap and decided to share my story from start to present. I honestly felt intimidated by the other women - I mean these ladies are a big deal! But I realized that we all start somewhere and that's what I had to share: the story of how I started and the challenges that come with scaling up from selling a few items a month to hundreds. So I hope you enjoy this book and that it will inspire you to follow your own dream, it's always worth the work! Yes, always.
Oh and if you want it signed let me know and I'll gladly scribble my name inside it for you ;D
Eleven moms share their stories behind innovative businesses that have grown from side projects in craft rooms and garages to nationally recognized brands. The furniture, clothing, toys, carrying wraps, diaper bags, and other products these women create can now be found in stores nationwide, including retailers such as Nordstrom, Land of Nod and Walmart. Being a mom is a full-time job, and starting a business is no easy feat, but these moms are here to inspire how both can be achieved.
